Crafting, identifying, salvaging...
I searched 8 pages trying to find more information. I just bought GW last night, logged on, create a new necromancer (oddly enough that looks exactly like me), ran some quests, picked a second profession (monk), and had a general good time of it all. All of this done blindly, as I really have no clue what I'm doing.
Now onto my questions... I finally got enough money to buy an ID kit, and a Salvage kit. I ID'd all those blue items in my inventory, and found nothing of use for me (I'm a necro, I use staffs, bows aren't my thing, axes arent my thing). I sold most to a merchant guy, and Salvaged some items that said "Highly Salvagable". So now I have some of these salvage items. I have a thing of blue dye. Is there a profession for crafting new items? How do I use these Salavaged items? What are dyes for? Am I limited by my class as to which weapons to use? Is the proper course of action to just sell this stuff to a vendor NPC? Are there any resources for me to find newbie information regarding dyes, salvaged items, ID'd equipment, etc? Thanks in advance for any info. |

no crafting profession just NPC crafters
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/craftin...ials-id180.php http://www.guildwarsguru.com/content...-101-id774.php might help a bit edit save your dyes for later as they have value you can use any weapon but if it has a requirement you dont meet it will have a penalty (but can be used) highly salvagable means you should get more than 1 of a material say 3 iron ingots rather than only 1 Last edited by Loviatar; May 25, 2005 at 04:45 PM // 16:45.. |
